One portion of the city’s Imagine Clearwater downtown waterfront redevelopment plan, which is still in design, calls for reshaping Coachman Park into a garden, where the band shell exists today, and building a new 4-acre green with a concert venue where there is now a parking lot.
There have been tremendous advances in tomato breeding over the years. Tomato breeders have been able to bring many outstanding hybrid tomato cultivars to the market. A great majority of the tomato cultivars available today are hybrids. Hybrid tomatoes are created by having two genetically different parents that are crossed each year to produce the hybrid tomato seed. Hybrids are usually more vigorous or have some superior traits compared to either parent. This is termed hybrid vigor. Gardeners cannot collect and save seeds from the ripe tomatoes since those seeds do not remain genetically true to type. Therefore to get the desired traits, they will need to purchase the seeds from seed producers or dealers. Many hybrids have outstanding taste and disease resistance.

Absolutely. So as you know, there’s a big move especially in Europe for these trucking customers to move to LNG-fueled trucks. What we’re seeing is a breadth of customers, you know, if you asked us this six months ago, we would have said, one or two customers are really moving in this direction and now we’re seeing more than a handful that are talking about going there and actually starting to build LNG fueling systems. We anticipate that the size of this opportunity is much bigger than we had originally sized it at. And I think across — and you could safely say across the next four years to six years, you’re looking at $500 million easily of build, of which we would have a significant subset of given these long-term agreements.
The tomato was first introduced to the United States in the 1700s. It was once thought by early American colonists to be poisonous. Thomas Jefferson was one of the first to grow tomatoes, which were called "Love Apples" at the time. The tomato was not recognized as a useful vegetable until the 1800s. Eaten raw or in innumerable cooked dishes, the tomato is an almost daily part of the American family diet.

However, automatic sprinkler systems and CO detectors have been tested and studied extensively in a number of countries for many years, and there can be no possible doubt that quite a few lives have been saved by automatic sprinkler systems since the late nineteenth century and by CO detectors since the last years of the twentieth century. Perhaps if the agencies which are responsible for building safety codes in national governments throughout the world opt to plan a realistic timetable that requirements regarding mandatory automatic sprinkler systems and mandatory CO detectors by installed in new buildings as well as retrofitting older buildings throughout the course of the 2020’s and the 2030’s, future tragedies will be avoided.
It is expensive to install fire sprinkler systems in new buildings, and it is even more expensive to retrofit older buildings with sprinkler systems. However, there is no monetary value that we can place on the value of saving human lives- human lives are not replaceable. Sprinkler systems and CO detectors do in fact save lives, this has been observed in fires throughout the U.S. for many decades now.
