Attic air leaks cause ice dams. In almost every house with ice dams, there will be attic air leaks directly below the beginnings of the ice dam. Attic bypasses are passageways for warmed air to enter the attic space, and traditional insulation won’t fix this. Tomatoes are highly susceptible to black walnut toxicity. The roots of black walnut (Juglans nigra L.) and Butternut (Juglans cinerea L.) produce a substance known as juglone (5-hydroxy-alphanapthaquinone). In addition, Persian (English or Carpathian) walnut trees are sometimes grafted onto black walnut rootstocks which cause the same problem. Many plants such as tomato, potato, blackberry, blueberry, azalea, mountain laurel, rhododendron, red pine and apple may be stunted or killed within one to two months when planted within the root zone of these trees. The toxic zone from a mature tree occurs on average in a 50- to a 60-foot radius from the trunk but can be up to 80 feet. The area affected extends outward each year as a tree enlarges. Young trees 2- to 8-feet high can have a root diameter twice the height of the tree, with susceptible plants dead within the root zone area and plant dying at the margins of the root zone. Be aware of this potential problem when selecting the site for your tomatoes.

Yes. So obviously we’re unable to comment on the specific customers themselves, but you guys understand who the majors are in the spaces. The one particular customer that we signed the agreement to govern global activity, that’s a pretty big move. Historically the purchasing would happen in the independent regions. While governed by a corporate structure, the negotiations on agreements would happen regionally on through the purchasing locations, which can take a lot of time as you’re working on each individual agreement. So this expedites the way that we can move forward with each region and how quickly we get new orders on the long-term agreements coming through for us. So that’s a big move and it’s something that we had never had before and we’re very excited about that.
